Thank you for your extraordinary partnership and dedication to the Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF)! Your generosity ensures that every student in the Los Altos School District (LASD) receives a quality, well-rounded education - one that reaches beyond what public funding alone can provide. On behalf of the LAEF board and staff, we’d like to share with you some highlights of a year defined by collaboration and remarkable generosity. 

 

This was a landmark year of partnership. We launched LASD Education Partners, a collaborative effort bringing together LASD, LAEF, and each school’s PTA with families as essential partners to fund the resources and opportunities that turn an ordinary education into an LASD education. 

 

This year also brought several first-ever, district-wide celebrations that united our school communities in new and joyful ways. We kicked off the school year with our first Rally Week, filling campuses with spirit, mascots, and pom-poms; a debut featured in the Los Altos Town Crier! In the fall, the LASD Art Showcase celebrated the imagination and talent of student artists from across the district. And in the spring, Illuminate LASD brought our community together to shine a light on student curiosity and learning, with LAEF proudly contributing a community mural project.

 

And last but certainly not least - with your support, we exceeded our fundraising goal in 2025-26, which allowed us to provide an additional grant of $350,000, bringing the total grant LAEF provided to the district to $3.05 million! 

 

None of this would be possible without your investment in our students' future. We value you as partners in ensuring all LASD students receive an exceptional education, preparing them to achieve their highest potential and contribute to our vibrant community. We look forward to partnering with you again next year, and we thank you for your continued support.
