LAEF's annual grant helped the Los Altos School District (LASD) deliver a well-rounded learning experience for all TK-8 students by funding teachers and staff for STEM, Wellness, Literacy, and Art in our elementary and junior high schools.

Funding priorities for the annual grant were based on feedback from the LAEF parent survey and through strategic discussions with LASD.

What We Fund

"Junior High electives provide students with a safe space to express themselves, forge friendships, get creative, and have fun! In drama, students build their public speaking skills, their sense of empathy, and their self-confidence with each performance."

–  Hana Meckler, Blach Drama teacher

"Every TK-8th grade student receives a well-rounded education because parents and our community invest in our neighborhood schools. Thank you! With your support, our students are well-prepared for high school, college, and beyond.

– Sandra McGonagle, LASD Superintendent
