2021-22 Annual Report
Los Altos Educational Foundation
Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) raises funds to sustain and enrich Los Altos School District's excellent educational program beyond what public funding provides.
"I am incredibly thankful for the strong partnership between LASD and LAEF. With contributions big and small from donors like you, our schools can provide every student with an excellent, well-rounded education, preparing them to thrive in high-school, college, and beyond.”

– Sandra McGonagle, LASD Superintendent
LAEf Funded Programs
LAEF’s annual grant helped the Los Altos School District (LASD) deliver a well-rounded learning experience for all TK-8 students by funding teachers and staff for STEM, Wellness, Literacy, and Arts in our elementary and junior high schools.

Funding priorities for the annual grant were based on feedback from the LAEF parent survey and through strategic discussions with LASD.

"We kind of did everything under the sun at elementary and middle school. I really loved the interdisciplinary range of programs that we had. I remember taking a computer science elective with Ms. V and drama with Ms. Clavijo – totally different electives but both of them fostered in me a love for communicating with people and working to solve problems in different ways."
– Aman Shah, Former LASD student entering Tufts University to study Cognitive and Brain Science.
