2024-25 ANNUAl REPORT
Los Altos Educational Foundation

Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) raises funds to sustain and enrich Los Altos School District's excellent educational program beyond what public funding provides.

With gratitude,
Jeff Zeisler, President 2024-2025
Heather Macdonald, LAEF Executive Director
"Because parents and our community invest in our neighborhood schools, every TK–8 student receives a high-quality education, preparing them well for high school, college, and beyond. Thank you!”
– Sandra McGonagle, LASD Superintendent

LAEF's annual grant helped the Los Altos School District (LASD) deliver a well-rounded learning experience for all TK-8 students by funding teachers and staff for Wellness, Innovation, Library, and Arts & Humanities in our elementary and junior high schools.

Funding priorities for the annual grant were based on feedback from the LAEF parent survey and through strategic discussions with LASD.

"Our wide variety of junior high electives give students the opportunity to explore their passions and try something new. In Yearbook, students put the principles of graphic design, photojournalism, and publishing into practice. They also gain invaluable experience in teamwork and project management, skills that will serve them well no matter where life takes them."
– Tiffany Hickman, Blach Yearbook Advisor
