STUDENTS BENEFITED

40th ANNIVERSARY

LAEF was founded 40 years ago to help fund an excellent public education for students in the Los Altos School District. With strong local support, LAEF has granted more than $56M to LASD since 1982, enabling the high-quality education we expect for our students.

In celebration of this milestone, LAEF and LASD partnered to host the LASD Community Festival to celebrate our 9 outstanding schools and to thank our community for 40 years of support.

What We Fund

LAEf Funded Programs

LAEF's annual grant helped the Los Altos School District (LASD) deliver a well-rounded learning experience for all TK-8 students by funding teachers and staff for STEM, Wellness, Literacy, and Art in our elementary and junior high schools.

Funding priorities for the annual grant were based on feedback from the LAEF parent survey and through strategic discussions with LASD.
